This May, Kate is pleased to be returning to A Chorus Line for the first time in 14 years. She will play Sheila in Gateway Playhouse's production directed by the legendary, Mitzi Hamilton. A Chorus Line runs May 11-26, 2018.
This winter, Kate is proud to be part of Pipeline Theatre Company's new production of Folk Wandering. "Folk Wandering is a sweeping new musical conjured from the hearts and minds of Jaclyn Backhaus (Men on Boats), Andrew Neisler (Charlatan, Clown Bar), and nine emerging singer-songwriters. This expansive story investigates the making and breaking of the American dream across three bygone generations." Kate is delighted to return to Ogunquit Playhouse this holiday season reprising her role as Betty Haynes.
Kate was honored to be part of Bret Shuford's beautiful Disney Animazement Video. The video stars Shuford, Kate, and Clinton Roane singing some of Disney's best "I Want" songs; "Just Around the Riverbend" from Pocahontas, "Go the Distance" from Hercules, and "Out There" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Kate and her cast members had the honor of performing COMPANY for the shows original composer, Stephen Sondheim, who surprised the cast after the show. He was moved by the show and the cast was moved by his presence.
Kate had the honor of performing alongside Broadway stars Sierra Boggess, Norm Lewis, Jeanette Bayardelle, and David Josefsberg at Bloombergs Global Business Forum. Guests included Mayor Bloomberg, himself, Henry Kissinger, and Oprah Winfrey.
